Healthy Banana Bread with No Added Sugar
Banana bread is a classic comfort food, but if you're looking for a healthier version, this no added sugar banana bread is perfect. I should also mention that there are no eggs in this recipe, making it both vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Please note that this loaf is not as light as traditional recipes. It's moist and dense. You can also add more chocolate, nuts and replace the maple syrup with honey. The riper the bananas, the better.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour (all purpose)
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
3 ripe bananas
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/3 cup milk of choice or coconut oil (at room temperature)
1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

PREP
Preheat oven to 330 degrees. I find that 350 is too harsh for most of my bread bakes. I prefer 330 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Lightly whisk the dry ingredients. We don't want any clumps.
In a medium bowl, mash bananas until liquidy. Add vanilla, maple syrup, and milk. Combine well.
Add liquid mixture to the dry ingredients. Combine well but, don't over mix.
Add half of the chocolate chips to the bowl and fold into the batter.
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with bakers spray.
Add mixture to the pan and top with remaining chocolate chips.
Bake for approximately 40 minutes, until golden and center is done.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
